I feel very honoured to have been elected as President of Help Murcia Mar Menor at the AGM held on March10th 2009.

I hope to include reports of the way in which your committee and others work to help people in the future but at the moment only want to let you know who I am and how I can be reached.

For those of you who do not know me I have been living in Spain for eight years with my husband Brian and although the original intention may have been to relax and enjoy the good life I soon realised that for me, laying on the beach day after day was dead boring.  Having relatives come to visit is nice and can take up some time but I need something worthwhile and stimulating to do. I have been involved with the work of Help for several years now and have been fortunate to get to know many of the members and volunteers and know that we all find the work of the society fulfils these needs.

We always want new members and volunteers to join us so why not pop into the office, visit the car boot sale or attend one of our social events?
